Alaska Airlines salutes veterans with new plane livery

Today may be Halloween, but Veterans Day — Nov. 11 — is just around the corner and in anticipation of the day, Alaska Airlines unveiled and dedicated a 737-900ER painted in a special theme.
Titled “Honoring Those Who Serve,” the livery was created in partnership with Boeing, and is dedicated to the men and women currently serving in the U.S. military as well as veterans of the armed forces and their families. The idea for the design came from a group of the airline’s maintenance technicians
